Need for the 24 episodes is approximately $10million, a famous celebrity. A female celebrity from
an A list TV show
has show interest to be a part of it. The full business plan can acquired by viable interest.
This series is created by children's author's Brian & Shawn Chrisagis who have just released 9 children's
books that will be in stores nationwide in Jan. 2006. Shawn & Brian have also won two Telly Awards for
children's programming and was nominated for the Crown Awards for their Variety Specials.
In 2005 they released a line of toys that teach character building skills and in 2006 they will launch
a new line of toys and a series of books in late spring based on "The Smokey
Mountain Pals".
Television Series
The animated TV series will be unique.
Rather than pushing super heroes who save the world,
these episodes convey a strong message that the character traits inside you
are what will make
all the difference in the world around you; that your self worth is
priceless, which makes YOU
the true Super Hero! Each episode will deliver a message of moral and
ethical values,
featuring kindness, honesty, self worth etc. The program will be an animated
series with
each episode teaching a lesson of the day through an entertaining
atmosphere.
It will be educating, fun and enjoyable to watch.
The Children’s Television Act (CTA) enacted
by Congress in 1990 has clear requirements for timing,
approach and commercial influence of all programs directed toward children
16 years of age and younger.
These guidelines encourage an increase in the amount of children’s
television and will help CBP’s position.
The series of TV productions is being
presented to both Christian and Mainstream TV networks
and distributed by Nightengale Associates, Inc., a major representative in
the entertainment industry.
Nightengale will be aided by the William Morris Agency, Jackie Stander from
Stander & Associates
and Page Ostrow from Ostrow & Co.
Video/DVD/CD Series
Children’s video, or “kidvid”, is a $4.8
billion market pumped by sell-through (as opposed to rental),
families’ conversions to DVD, and today’s kids’ remarkable media savvy.
Not only are kids aware of every entertainment trend, they have more
spending power -
and have more spent on them - than any previous generation. When targeting
them, it is important to
recognize that kids have made the most of parental permissiveness, and could
soon start their own
country, if not their own planet. The market is yearning for shows of this
nature and the "Rock Hounds"
& “Smokey Mountain Pals” will be at the forefront of this wave.
Expansion Line
In year three, we will introduce our
Expansion Product Line for our series. It will
include clothing, books, home décor items,
music CD’s, themed toys, school supply items, ornaments
and much more. Expansion products create endless possibilities and we’ve
learned from our
competitors to pursue this income source.
This product line is currently comprised of 24 characters Each character is featured in the television program
and videos and becomes a toy/doll/story sold separately at retail and via the Internet. The characters will be
included in a book series for late spring 2006 and a touring stage productions in 2007.
These dolls are unique in the marketplace
because they are not only soft and cuddly, but each carries a different
and powerful message for the child. As children cuddle with Bearhoven
bear, his CD will teach the child
about good sportsmanship, something that is needed in our society today.
As they hold the beautiful skunk
Ms. P.U., they'll learn about good hygiene. As they play with Newt the
Possum, they'll learn about reading.
Over the years critics have said that
Disney has lost some of the wholesome values that Walt Disney so
passionately followed. CBP Products bring back those values that are so
sorely missing in our society
today which is something a lot of our competitors have forgotten. While one
of our competitors, the VeggieTales,
keyed into family values, they limited themselves with animated Vegetables.
CBP characters go beyond a
one dimensional group of characters: we have animals, aliens, angels,
people, princesses, racial and
ethnic characters, and even handicapped and special needs characters which
makes our line of
products extremely unique; teaching children that there is value in every
creature created, no matter how different.
Market introduction in 2006 is excellent
timing. Surveys show that parents want toys that will enlighten
and teach their children. These toys do it in a loving and fun way.
Children of all ages love these soft dolls
and parents are purchasing them as collectibles.

CAST:
FORREST STUMP, BEARHOVEN, MOONIQUE, ROMEO, NEWT, MS. P.U., HAREY, TE AMO,
BIRDIE
MAE, HAMLET, FARAH FOXETTE, HOWLIN VON WOLF, APPLE JACK, BANDIT, SQUIRLEY,
WHOOTIE, FLEECIA, DAVY CROAKET, & HOPPY.
STORY/PLOT:
Smokey Mountain Pals is a comical animated TV series about life, friendship,
and the environment.
We believe this series will be perfect in a Prime Time Schedule with it's
fun characters, stories,
and edgy humor. Each story has a moral issue or dilemma, while each
character has a dynamic
personality or trait that will keep the viewers watching for years to come.
As all good epic stories there
is a narrator in each episode, which will be the old wise tree Forest Stump
(the tree's narration will be
spoken over a country ballad sound like the Dukes of Hazzard did with their
narration.) Next we have
some good-old boys and girls we like to refer to as the saints of the series
such as Bearhoven
the cute bear cub, Romeo the lazy hound dog, Newt the bright-eyed Possum,
and sweet little
Birdie Mae the golden bird. Now no story would be complete without its share
of sinner’s that will
be on the prowl every week with fun and excitement like the wild-man Howlin
Von Wolf, the beautiful fox
and super-model Farah Foxette, Bandit the deceptive Raccoon, and the ornery
skunk Ms. P.U..
The Smokey Mountain Pals are not just for kids, this series is for the
entire family. We can see it as
the first animated soap opra that would be like the Ewing family from
'Dallas' meeting 'The Waltons'.
We believe these animated animals have the capability to be this
generation’s classic characters
such as Disney’s Roger Rabbit, The Looney Tunes, or even the Simpsons. We
can see this series
spinning off into feature films, books, games, and even an amusement park.
Now that you know the
theme of the story and the market plan, let’s meet the zany characters…
CAST OF CHARACTERS:
1) Forest Stump - strong, wise old tree that was cut down to early in life…
He
tells of times long ago, talks on environmental issues, and teaches his
forest
friends what real friendship and survival is all about. Forest Stump will be
the
main character & the narrator of each of the stories… some of Forest Stump’s
wise sayings includes: “Life is like fungus, you never know when it will
grow on
you.” and “Planting a tree is like eating a box of chocolates, you can’t
stop
with just one.”
|
 |
2) Bearhoven - is the adorable, chubby little bear cub. He is a fun-loving,
happy-go-lucky character. Bearhoven’s name was given to him by his parents
who
were big fans of classical music and their composer’s such as Johnny Cash
and
Dolly Parton. Well, it may not be the classical music you had in mind but in
the
Smokey Mountains that is the classics. Since Bearhoven was born he loves to
sing
and play his fiddle. Bearhoven is usually seen dressed in an orange and
white
hat and orange and white shoes, carrying a football, he brings the feel of
the
Smokey Mountains to life. He is a loyal friend to all, but he does shy away
from
girls, mostly Moonique the cow. In fact, he is scared to death of her and
tries
his best not to make her mad while trying to hide from her. If he sees her
down
the block he already heads out of town.
|
 |
3) Moonique - This fat and fabulous female cow is utterly hilarious, people
from
all walks of life will adore her. Moonique is the funniest character in the
entire group. She means well, but is too much cow, and too much woman for
everyone especially Bearhoven (the little cub whom she’s in love with). When
Moonique walks into a seen the whole Forrest utterly feels her strong
aggressive
walk. She has a temper that would make Mr. T. run in fear, but when she
loves
she loves completely. This big buxom beauty has already stolen the hearts of
all
who have come within sight of her picture with her Lucille Ball flaming
red-hair, big green Tammy Faye painted eyes, ruby bow-tied shaped lips, and
her
huge bovine body.
|
 |
4) Romeo – This cute but funny looking hound-dog with oversized ears and
even
bigger problems is always depressed and tired. Romeo loves the music of
Billy
Ray Cyrus but the only thing this hound dog and Billy Ray have in common is
their Achy Breaky Heart. Romeo’s character is a lot like Eeyore from Winnie
the
Pooh, with his woe-is-me attitude. Sweet Little Birdie Mae always tries to
set
him straight and bring joy to his heart… not an easy task for such a little
bird, but if anyone can do it Birdie Mae can.
|
 |
|
5) Newt – The little Possum who can’t read, can’t spell and has a stuttering
problem. His personality is like Country Music’s Mel Tillis, he is a good
old
boy with a backwoods charm. Newt is best friends with Romeo the Hound-Dog.
Newt
will learn the importance of reading and writing as the series evolves.
|
 |
6) Ms. P.U. – This little stinker is a pretty little skunk with a big
scent-sational personality. She can teach Hygiene to kids and other
scent-sational things. P.U. is an ornery tomboy that loves to play with the
boy’s football, baseball, etc. but when she’s losing the game she sometimes
cheats by letting off her unbelievable odor. She is a girl that just wants
to
have fun and you never know what’s up her sleeve and going on in her pretty
manipulating head.
|
 |
|
7) Harey – the rabbit with the long whiskers and bushy white fur. Harey is
dressed in a beautiful coat of many colors. He teaches all the creatures in
the
Smokey Mountains how special they all are. He has an inspirational
personality
and is a wonderful storyteller. His stories always have a point or a lesson.
|
Pending picture |
8) Birdie Mae – The most angelic character in this group. Birdie Mae is a
Doris
Day or Sandra Dee type character that always finds the best in others and
finds
joy in the smallest things. She can light up any cloudy day with her sun
shining
personality and voice. She always solves the problems in the Forrest with
just a
little song and a cheerful attitude. Birdie is as beautiful on the inside as
she
is on the outside and will touch everyone’s heart with joy, love and her
song.
|
 |
9) Hamlet – This flamboyant Porker thinks he’s right out of the pages of the
story Hamlet and the name “Hamlet” is a perfect name for a pig… He’s a
Shakespearean want-to-be actor who quotes from popular books, poetry, and
famous
literary characters like: Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, Anthony & Cleopatra, and
Caesar. Hamlet sometimes thinks he is a hero out of these literary books,
he’s a
bit crazy, but he always tries to protect the gorgeous damsel Farah Foxette
and
to take her away from her boyfriend Howlin Von Wolf. A popular saying for
Hamlet
is, “Thou shalt eat no swine before its time!”
|
 |
10) Farah Foxette – She’s soooooo FOXY, she’s irresistible! Her beautiful
eyes
and lashes can charm any male but watch her closely… This red headed beauty
is
very crafty. She can sweet talk her way out of anything. Ms. Foxette is a
red
fox with all the right wiggles, from her ears to the tip of her furry tail;
she
is perfectly poised, ready for the spotlight. Farah is able to tie any of
the
male characters around her paw, so they better beware because this gorgeous
creature isn’t what she appears to be, she may look like an angel but she’s
got
mischief on her mind. She often pits one character against the other and
knows
how to control her on-again-off-again boyfriend Howlin Von Wolf. Farah is a
super model that's always seen in red and she's always wearing something
strikingly fashionable. Farah will be the major vixen in this TV series.
|
 |
11) Howlin Von Wolf – This wild muscle-bound wolf, is a bit evil in a funny
way.
He is the villian in the Smokey Mountains and he's always scheming up a plot
to
get what he wants. He also likes to deceive the sweet, innocent Fleecia (the
little lamb) by posing as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. This big strong brute
has
a Fabio type personality with his flowing blonde hair, romantic style, and
his
Italian accent. He also loves to torment Hamlet the Pig by dueling him for
the
love of the beautiful Ms. Foxette. Howlin Von Wolf will be the J.R. Ewing of
this soapy animated series.
|
 |
12) Apple Jack – This sweet donkey is scared of his own shadow and everyone
elses. His big round eyes show his innocence to life… He is always the one
everyone (especially Bandit the Raccoon & Ms. P.U. the Skunk) takes
advantage of
because Apple Jack has such a trustworthy heart and spirit. Apple Jack is
Bearhoven’s buddy and actually was named by Bearhoven. You see, Apple Jack
loved
eating apples so when Bearhoven brought him home to live with him in the
Smokey
Mountains he named this adorable donkey Apple Jack. Since Apple Jack is
naïve to
the ways of the world, Birdie Mae always tries to set him straight.
|
 |
13) Bandit – Raccoons are known to be thieves, usually when something is
missing
in the Forrest or Smokey Mountains it is a raccoon who took it. Bandit is
such a
thief that he spent most of his young life in the Smokey Mountain jail.
Bandit
has a voice like Edward G. Robinson who always played a gangster and
Bandit’s
personality is very much a gangster type. He finds joy in tormenting Apple
Jack
the Donkey. Bandit always has a con game going on; he’s got a rap sheet
bigger
than the National Debt. Bandit usually leaves Apple Jack in the middle of
his
crime sprees.
|
 |
14) Squirley – This cute little squirrel is a real nut. She was born with a
dark
cloud over her head. For some reason beyond Squirley’s knowledge everywhere
she
goes some disaster happens. She is a real klutz, everything she touches she
breaks. If there is such a thing as bad luck it would be Squirley. She is
one
bad penny, its not that she doesn’t mean well, she has a heart of gold but
everyone in the Smokey Mountains tries to stay away from her. Squirley
doesn’t
enter a room she brings mayhem to it. She is very accident prone. With her
adorable, big eyes of love and her big buck teeth she will capture your
heart.
She loves to wear poodle skirts and scarves making her look like a
throw-back
from the 60’s.
|
 |
|
15) Whootie – One of the smartest animals in God’s creation are owls and
this
little Whootie Owl is no different. Whootie will be a great friend to the
wise
educator Forrest Stump & teach education to all who watch the series.
Whootie
will teach his forrest friends ‘reading’, ‘spelling’, and even ‘math’. This
little Whoot knows it all. He is a young student teacher who will give new
insight to things unknown to all in the Smokey
Mountains |
 |
16) Fleecia – Sweet, innocent, and cuddly are just a few words to describe
this
dainty little lamb. She is a bit of an airhead, and a little ditzy, she’s
one
fleece short of a flock… She marches to her own drum-beat and sees everyone
and
everything through rose colored glasses. She doesn’t live in reality but
sees
things the way she wants them. The cunning Howlin Von Wolf will try to
deceive
Fleecia in many of the episodes by getting her to trust him, but he is a
wolf in
sheeps clothing and he wants eat her for lunch. The combination of Howlin &
Fleecia will be hysterical for the viewers to watch, it will be alot like
the
old Looney Tunes cartoon and will keep everyone coming back for more.
|
 |
17)
Davy Croaket – Leapin’ Lizzards it’s a frontiers bullfrog! Born on a
mountain top in Tennessee, greenest Frog in the land of the free. Raised in
the
swamp so’s he knew every tree, killed him a fly when he was only three.
Davy,
Davy Croaket King of the Wild Frontier. Fought single-handedly through the
tortoise-war, till the creek was whipped and peace was restored. And while
he
was handling this risky chore, made himself a legend forevermore. Davy, Davy
Croaket the frog who don’t know fear. This frog serenades Farah Foxette
every
morning in Farah’s pond behind her log cabin house. Davy has his own back-up
group called “The Croakets”.
|
 |
|
18) Hoppy – is the female frog in Farah’s pond. She is one of Davy Croaket’s
background singers, “The Croakets”. She has a secret crush on Davy, who pays
no
attention to her because he has his eyes on Farah Foxette.
|
 |
19) Te Amo – The final character in the cast and one of the most important.
Te
Amo is a beautiful butterfly. This magical butterfly has super powers sort
of
like Tinker Bell, Te Amo flies through the Smokey Mountains while doing her
magic. Everytime Te Amo appears she brings love into the situation. Since Te
Amo
is Spanish for “I Love You”, Te Amo posses the cupid power of making people
fall
in love, she just has to be careful who she uses her powers on. Since
butterflies stand for new life, Te Amo brings love and creates a better life
for all those who fall under her spell |

Now that you know the character’s here’s a list of episode ideas.
|
|
EPISODE IDEAS:
1) Harvest of Friends -
"Home is the nicest word there is." says, Forrest Stump as he tells the
viewers
at home about the Smokey Mountain characters. This episode revolves around
Bearhoven and how he settled on the banks of Apple Creek in the Smokey
Mountains. In order to set up his farm, this cute cub must take on several
jobs
at once. He meets a backward donkey who loves the apple trees around
Bearhoven's
farm and soon calls the donkey Apple Jack. The two become best of friends
and
work together on this farm in Apple Creek. But when Bearhoven is injured
during
the hectic work schedule, he can no longer do any labor... Apple Jack
attempts
to do the heavy labor himself until the other forrest friends pitch in to
complete the job. In the end Bearhoven finds a harvest of good friends.
2) Spring Dance - Country Style -
It's time to meet the neighbors at the social event of the season... and the
men
have to ask the ladies for a date at the spring dance. Every guy in town
wants
to ask the shapely beauty Farah Foxette, but this fox is already spoken for
by
Howlin' Von Wolf, the handsome muscle-bound wolf that everyone in the town
is
afraid of... Everyone except heroic Davy Croaket and Hamlet the
flamboyant Pig.
So it's a duel to the end when Farah plays the field and leads all the men
in
town into a trap with her boyfriend the Wolf. This story is hilarious
especially
when Moonique the gigantic cow comes after Bearhoven to ask him to be her
date.
Bearhoven is scared to death of Moonique and the two are great fun together.
But
when Te Amo the magical butterfly puts a love spell on Bearhoven for
Moonique,
the tables are turned and Moonique starts running from the little cub.
3) The Stinker -
It's time for Football! After losing badly the previous year, all of the
Smokey
Mountains expect to win the upcoming game thanks to the new kid in town
(Bearhoven). The town is so confident that Bandit the Racoon even takes his
friends money to places bets on the game. However it looks like the towns
hopes
will be dashed when Ms. P.U. enters the game. Ms. P.U. needs to learn
manners
and sportsmanship conduct when it comes to loosing a football game against
some
of the guys in the town. The little skunk (P.U.) can be a real stinker
at times
when she's loosing a game so she lets off her odor to make the other team
fall
over. Now it's up to sweet Birdie Mae to teach Ms. P.U. Hygiene & other
scent-sational things.
4) To Read or Not to Read -
Whootie the owl & teacher of the town have assigned all of his class to do a
play on a book they have read. Everyone in the town is excited about this
except
for Romeo the hound dog and Newt the Possum... neither of them know how to
read
or write. So Forrest Stump & Birdie Mae tries to teach the twosome how to
read &
how to have fun doing it... Meanwhile Hamlet can't decide which story he
should
perform in school since he is an actor who loves the theater. Who will win &
will Romeo & Newt ever read?
5) Country Gold -
While fishing, Newt, Bearhoven, Apple Jack, & Romeo stumble upon some
"gold".
They spend several weeks trying to pull all of the gold from the stream &
keeping it away from the other forrest friends... But Farah the fox can get
any
secret out of any guy with just a wiggle & a smile... will these guys weaken
to
her temptations? Soon Howlin Von Wolf & Bandit the raccoon try to get the
gold.
It is only when the gang bring the so called gold to the bank, that they
learn
it is really fool's gold.
6) The Jinx named Squirley -
The Smokey Mountains will never be the same when a new girl named Squirley
moves
in. She tries to be friends with everyone in town but every time she walks
by
something bad happens like an earthquake; falling rocks, a house falls in,
or
someone falls down and breaks a leg. Is Squirley a jinx or is her reputation
all
rumors? Soon no one in the town wants to have her around, except little
Birdie
Mae and Harey the rabbit. This episode will teach on accepting others &
loving
them despite their flaws.
7) Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing -
Howlin Von Wolf is after the cute little lamb Fleecia... he will stop at
nothing
til he makes her his. Can Fleecia see this Wolf in sheep’s clothing is out
to
eat her? This episode is a comical Looney Tune adventure with the Wolf & the
little defenseless lamb... it will leave the audience laughing and at the
edge
of their seats especially when Davy Croaket comes to save the day. This
episode
will teach on being safe and stay away from strangers.
8) The Election -
The town holds an election for town mayor. Hamlet, Howlin Von Wolf, or
Moonique
(the unpopular cow amongst the town), are all in the running. Howlin Von
Wolf
gets Farah Foxette to be his campaign major, and she manipulates every male
in
the Smokey Mountains to vote for Howlin. But through the help of Forrest
Stump &
Harey the rabbit, Hamlet drops out of the race when he realizes that
Moonique
needs this honor more than he does and that she is really the best person
for
the job. While Howlin and Farah are disqualified for cheating.
These are just a few of the great stories this series can teach... We hope
you
will see the potential in this series like we do. We really believe this is
by
far the greatest group of characters assembled together since the classic
Looney
Tune series. As you can see this concept is fun for the entire family and
the
characters are unlike any seen in comic books and TV before. This down-home
charming group of characters would be a merchandising dream and would have
the
ability to be a Feature Film and a merchandisers dream.
We have 12 of the characters being made into proto-type toys as we type this for
a new Toy line that will come out along with a series of children's books based
on these characters in the spring of 2006.
Here's the first six characters.
